Tudor? Tu-DON'T.

So I love me some historical fashion...Tudor stuff, Elizabethan stuff, what have you. Even a show like The Tudors or movies like Elizabeth who take the idea and run with it in fashion directions that would the original historical figures blush right down to their hose with silk slashing. I went to my first Rennaissance Faire this year and pretty much love those too (duh.) so you'd think I had some sort of free-pass attitude to people enjoying Renaissance fassion in their own lives.

You would be WRONG. I'm looking for some ideas for sweet costumes and google, as per usual, has handed me a goodie-bag of make-funnies. Lets BEGIN:

I'm not going to even start on how NOT Tudor this dress is. Don't call something a Tudor dress when it's clearly NOT Tudor in any way shape or form! This dress has bigger problems. Faux-fur? Pom poms? Yes, you say, a ridiculous Halloween costume. No no. This, my friends, is a WEDDING DRESS. I. Repeat. WEDDING. DRESS.

This one isn't marked as a wedding dress. This one is called--wait for it!-- THE DRESS OF ACCOLADES! Accolades are small sighs of pity, right? No. Oh well.

Yet again, more faux-fur. Fun fact: Queen Elizabeth was a champion of the Church of England. Another fun fact: Queen Elizabeth owned, like, a shit-ton of Twilight shirts and other stuff from Hot Topic! Can'tcha tell?

I know what you thought I was going to say. You thought I was was going to make a fat joke. Well shame on you. I was going to make a joke about choosing the only spot on the golf course with a golf-cart-path smack-dab in the middle of your background. But now I won't, because I'm so dissapointed in all of you.
